Saturday morning saw Emma’s hen weekend in Edinburgh kick off with some bunting making. One of the hens had contacted us in advance to let us know that the colours for the wedding were peach and mint so we made sure we brought plenty of materials in those colours. The hens loved the choice of materials, fabrics, lace, ribbons, buttons and beads that we’d brought and spent time choosing what to use in their flag designs. The class was held in a lovely self catering apartment that they had rented in Edinburgh which had a nice big bright living room to lay everything out and give them plenty of space to sew.
They made some lovely bunting which Emma is hoping to hang up at the wedding so they can all proudly show off their handy-work!
After the bunting class the hens were heading off for a “Mad Hatters Tea Party” – sounds fun!
