General Info

Our jewellery making classes are designed for anyone to be able to come along and create a beautiful piece of jewellery to take home with them. We bring along a large selection of materials for you to choose from and a selection of designs to inspire your piece.

No experience is required so don’t worry if you have never made jewellery before. Everyone at the class will be able to complete two lovely pieces of jewellery to take home with them in a lovely gift box with them as a memory of the day (a necklace or bracelet, plus earrings). Our jewellery making classes last between 2 and 3 hours, depending on the designs being made on the day and number of participants.

The classes are ideal for smaller numbers of hens but if you are a larger groups of hens and want to do this class we can tailor it for you.  Just call us to discuss details.

Venues

As with all of our classes, our jewellery making classes can be run in a number of beautiful Edinburgh and Glasgow based venues including gorgeous quirky tea houses, cool bistro cafes and luxury hotels, or alternatively may be arranged as a private party at a location of your own choosing. We’ve travelled far and wide across Scotland so don’t hesitate to ask no matter where you’d like to hold your hen party!

Some of our recommended venues may have limits on minimum and maximum numbers due to space required. If you opt for one of our recommended venues, you will be served delicious afternoon tea, or drinks and nibbles to enjoy during the class (please note that food and drink is not included in the class price and is paid directly to the venue. See Prices below for information on costs)

Venues we have used in the past include Hotel du Vin, The Bonham Hotel, The Howard Hotel, Norton House Hotel and Hemma. In Glasgow we’ve had the pleasure of running classes in lots of beautiful venues including The Hummingbird, The Butterfly & The Pig Tearooms on Bath Street, the Corinthian Club and Blythswood Square Hotel.

Wherever you choose to have your fascinator making class, the venue will provide refreshments of your choice for you. If you opt for afternoon tea this will include a lovely range of sandwiches, cakes, tea plus cava or champagne if you choose.

Materials

Each jewellery making class will include access to a huge range of materials and decorative items and instruction from you very own teacher(s) for the class. Each participant is also given a lovely gift box to take their hand-made piece of jewellery away with them, although most people want to wear it immediately!

Pricing

Each jewellery making class requires a minimum of 10 people.

The price for the class starts from just £35pp depending on numbers.

This includes all materials for making your jewellery, instruction by our teachers, digital photos of the class for you to keep, and of course your completed jewellery in a lovely gift box.  The price of afternoon tea/bubbles/nibbles is in addition to this and will vary depending on the venue chosen (usually payable directly to the chosen venue) although if you’re having the class in your own accommodation and we are coming to you, you will of course only have to pay the class fee.
