On the day of the Grand National this year, we ran a luxury fascinator making class for a lovely group of ladies in the fabulous Corinthian Club in Glasgow. We held the class in the stunning “Nosey Parkers” room with it’s funky wall of letters. This week’s class wasn’t a hen party but a group of friends who were keen to learn the basics of fascinator making so that they could make their own fascinators to then go and watch the Grand National in style.
After we had a good giggle at the fun chairs in the room, the ladies set to work to create their fascinators. They each made very different designs including a lovely navy and crin looped design, a lovely yellow and gold sinamay and feather piece, a striking navy and apple green structured design and a navy and pink sinamay fascinator.
They enjoyed delicious Afternoon Tea and Prosecco whilst they made their fascinators before heading off to watch the race.
Thanks to Nicola and her friends for booking the class and letting us share a few photos!
