Well we had SUCH good fun a couple of weeks ago running a hen party class for the super lovely Aenone’s hen party. The hens had rented a fabulous self catering house in Edinburgh where we ran the class for them. We took over the huge dining room with our materials and taught them everything they needed to know to produce their own fascinators.
The girls all chose very different designs for their pieces ranging from a couple of large, bright statement pieces, to one involving lots of detailed beading, some preferring simple pastel colours and flowers. Some were unsure of what would suit them so we worked with them to discuss favourite dresses, colours and styles until we came up with something that they liked. As always, everyone had great fun working away whilst enjoying some delicious food and fizz and everyone managed to get their piece finished just before the end of the class meaning we could take some nice group shots with everyone’s finished fascinators being worn.
I was particularly pleased when the girls gave me a large piece of delicious chocolate cake to take home at the end of the class…yum….:-)
