Katy and I had an absolute ball running a fascinator making hen party class for a wonderful group of hen’s in Edinburgh’s West End a couple of weekends ago.

The girls were renting a lovely large and airy apartment in the West End so we had plenty of space to spread all the materials out and teach the class. The girls listened attentively while we taught them the basic techniques required to make their fascinators. They all then spent time choosing the styles and colours they each wanted then set to work making their fascinators. They all chose quite different designs which suited their own personality and to suit dresses they each had.

They all came up with some great ideas for their headpieces and by the end of the class they all had completed piece to take away with them.

Here are a few snaps of the hens at work and with their finished fascinators. I think you’ll agree they did an amazing job whilst having lots of fun :-))))
