What an amazingly creative bunch of ladies we met last weekend in Hemma, Edinburgh for another brilliant fascinator making hen party class as part of the lovely Barbara’s hen weekend in Edinburgh.  We took over the fantastic space in Hemma and spread out our mountains of lovely materials for the ladies.  One or two of them had brought along some of their own bits and pieces to add to their piece, one bringing something slightly unusual (from her husband’s workshop) which made a fantastic design….

As always, the ladies came up with some fabulous and unusual designs with a huge variety of styles between them.  From a some small, simple elegant pastel fascinator to a full on bright fascinators with a hand sewn strawberry on top, from a simple black flower design to a stunning red and white fascinator with washers and bolts as decoration, we were delighted at what these particularly artistic hens managed to make in the class.  There class was fuelled with a delicious spread put on by Hemma, washed down with plenty of fizz.  Yum.
