Luxury Hat Making Class with Afternoon Tea and bubbles!

Ever fancied making your very own hat, suitable for wearing to the races, to a wedding, to a garden party or even just for doing the housework when no-one’s looking? (shhh – we won’t tell anyone….). How about a day of learning about hat making whilst also enjoying a delicious full Afternoon Tea with fizz…heaven? We think so!

If you agree and fancy making this a dreamy day out – book onto one of our luxury hat making class days. Choose from our classes run in the gorgeous Howard Hotel in Edinburgh’s New Town, or Glasgow’s stunning Corinthian Club. In both venues you’ll learn to making basic hat bases and trimmings and then decorate your very own hat to take home at the end of the day.  After a morning session of learning the basics, you’ll have a break to enjoy a delicious afternoon tea and a glass of fizz whilst chatting with your friends – old and new! Then in the afternoon you’ll carry on and decorate your very own hat to take home, in a lovely hat box.

In advance you can choose colours and styles so that you’re sure to take home the hat of your dreams, created with your very own hands!

The classes will be run by Hannah Scheidig, an Edinburgh based milliner, owner of Hannah Scheidig Millinery and author of “Fascinators” an internationally sold book on fascinator making. Hannah also owns Arabella Bridal specialising in bridal fascinators and headpieces, and the MADE craft parties though which she has taught hundreds of ladies to make fascinators.

The classes will be informative whilst lots of fun and you’re guaranteed to leave with a smile on your face, a full tum and of course with a fabulous hat!
